12/09/07 - Warm Sunday Afternoon

This week we had another of those freak warm snaps in winter, the temps were supposed to get to the mid 70's and although they never really made it past 70 it was still a good day to ride. It was a simple Sunday afternoon ride, as per usual only two originally said they were coming, one of them didn't show, but 11 others did so we had a big group. It was a simple loop, a little over 100 miles. The only detail to note was that if you ever need to make a film about a post-apocalyptic world, just come to Ragland on a Sunday afternoon. Its like a scene from the Body Snatchers, there is absolutely no living thing in sight in Ragland on Sundays.
