03/02/08 - First Warm Weekend

This weekend was that special first warm weekend, It wasn't warm enough to go without a jacket but it was warm enough to not be sneezing ice cubes. Saturday I was not able to catch up with any group rides but I did start off my county for the bounty contest. Every year I enter a contest to complete a task and every year I fail, so this years contest is to snag a mimimum of 10 county lines, I snagged my first headed to 29 dreams Shelby and from there got St Clair, Talledega, Calhoun, Etowah, Blount, & Jefferson. 7 down 3 to go for one entry, If I can get 20 I'll get two entries. Sunday was in the mid 70's so I went out with Shawnette, it was her first time to ride the new VStar. She did'nt like the Vstar as much as the Royal Star but she still thinks its a great bike, the Mustang seat is surely a plus as the passenger Mustang seat is large and plush. I still have the Royal Star but its going to need a new engine.
